Hey there!

I'm Laura

BUT YOU CAN CALL ME SQUIDGE

When someone says “Theme Park Food” you’d absolutely be forgiven for thinking of overpriced candy floss, questionable hot dogs and those doughnuts with enough grease in them to melt through their paper bag. But thankfully, modern parks are trying to shed that stereotype. I guess after the Jamie Oliver years, serving things that might give you a swift heart attack was a little less fashionable. Though I’m sure overpriced candy floss will outlast us all if you’re into that sort of thing.

As both a foodie and a theme-park enjoyer, I am thrilled by this development. From the themed offerings in places like Universal Studios, to food festivals and events, to some resorts even having Michelin-starred restaurants, guests have so many more options these days for good (and often Instagrammable) fare.

So, this seems like the perfect time for Squidge Eats to grab a notebook and get out there, for a foodie’s perspective on what your favourite attractions have to offer. And this is definitely not just an excuse to try out some of the unbelievable things cropping up on my Instagram feed. Honest.

Anyway, if this sounds like your thing, join me for reviews, news and perhaps even guides on getting the most food-wise out of your adventures.

Remember to please keep your arms and legs inside the vehicle and let’s eat!
